The South-West coastal region is a beautiful natural reserve in the surroundings of Es Vedra, the Ibiza-Icon rocky island, just off the coast near Cala d´Hort. The place is said to be magic and magnetic. To experience yourself  this natural wonder, best is to go sit on the plateau in front of it, to gaze at the sunset just behind Es Vedra. Es Vedra is best seen at sunset time from the convenient plateau 100m above sea level near Cala D´hort.  

Cala Vadella is a sea-side village with a wide white sand beach protected on its flanks by beautiful cliffs. A natural port with an area of ​​ fishermen sheds and dry docks for giving an authentic atmosphere.
Car park in the summer months is not available close to the beach. There is some parking on the road “Carrer de sa Torassa” with a few minutes walking. Cala Vadella offers all the services with loungers and umbrellas for rent by the day, jet ski rental, diving center, restaurants, among which a renovated beach club on the side of the beach Maya with a nice terrace, or Restaurante María Luisa right on the beach too, serving excellent paellas

Cala D´hort is a great sandy beach in the region offering an emotional close encounter view of Es Vedra. It has kept an authentic beach feeling with its casual restaurants El carmen, the Chiriguito and Es Boldado.  Restaurant El Carmen, a long-standing family-owned beach restaurant serving Spanish cuisine. Their specialty is "Paella" the national rice dish cooked and served in large pans to share.

The famous beach of Cala Jondal, just a few minutes from Es Cubells, offers a variety of Beach Restaurants: from the family friendly “Tropicana”, to a classic of the Island: “Yemanja”, the restaurant of “Blue Marlin Beach Club”, to end at the fine dining “Jondal” an interesting gastronomic experience opened in the Summer 2020 by chef Rafa Zafra from “El Bulli”.  

The closest village is San Josep 5 km away. It offers all amenities like restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, etc. 15 minutes away from Ibiza town. Can Josep holds the Municipality offices of the Region, the place to sort out administrative tasks related to your property.
