This country estate with sea view has two separate houses just next to each other on a large plot of land of 15.000m2. It is conveniently located near la Savina, the main port of entrance to the Island of Formentera.  

INSIDE
There is a main house with 2 floors : on the ground floor we find a large living room-kitchen with fireplace, interior patio with shower, 2 double bedrooms with one shared bathroom.
On the second floor we find the master suite with bathroom and terrace.
Passing through a covered terrace we reach the annexe with 2 double bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and a nice covered terrace with sea view.

OUTSIDE
A swimming pool in a large garden to de developed if need be. BBQ and outdoor kitchen. Space on the property for 6 cars.

ABOUT THE AREA – FORMENTERA ISLAND
Formentera is the neighbour island of Ibiza reached in 230 minutes fast ferry. Ibiza and Formentera are separated by a narrow channel surrounded by small islets. Formentera is an amazing nature sanctuary, with a variety of great beaches and exclusivity due to its small size. Formentera: lovely preserved villages, traditional values, simplicity and authenticity. These asses make for the enduring popularity of Formentera with approx 3.5 million visitors per year creating demand for villa rentals.

The village of La Savina offers a variety of services and shops, banks, healthcare and administrative services. Rental shops offer bikes, scooters and cars to roam around the island.  There are many facilities for water sports. Formentera´s beaches, forests and fields are wonderful for biking or tranquil hiking.

Interesting fact : from where comes the Name Formentera?  The Romans called it “Frumentaria”, i.e. island of wheat, for the great quantity of wheat and fruits the island produced.                   

MILD CLIMATE OF IBIZA & FORMENTERA
Formentera is drier and warmer than the rest of the Balearic Islands, presenting a semi-arid climate. The sun exposure of the territory is high, with about 3,000 hours per year on 320 days. The average annual average temperature of the island varies between 16 and 18.5º and yearly rainfall between 200 and 500 mm.
