ABOUT THE AREA – SA CARROCA - SAN JORDI The property is very centrally located in the area of Sa Carroca, close to Ibiza City. The region is very well connected to entertainment hot spots, beaches and the airport. The closest village is San Jordi only one km away. Then, a bit further at only 5 km, is Ibiza City with all services, many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shopping, pharmacies, banks, post office, petrol stations, dry cleaners, etc… The proximity to Ibiza City and to the yachting Marina Botafoch area, reached in minutes using the 4 lanes highway is an important plus for this property. UNESCO World Heritage Ibiza old town, 10 minutes away from San Jordi.
Ibiza South Coast is very lively and busy in the Summer season from May to October. It is bustling with many world-famous entertainment offers open six months per year. Even though, San Jordi remains a calm village the whole year through.
The closest beach is Playa d´en Bossa, the largest sandy beach of the Island, with its famous entertainment and party strip. There you find Beach clubs like Ushuaïa world-class open-air entertainment with star DJs and great shows, Beachouse, Nassau, Coco Beach, Tanit, Santos or Playa Soleil. Although San Jordi village is only a few Kms away, in the surroundings nothing shows of the hype and excitation happening on the beach. Another nice beach just around the corner of San Jordi is Salinas with beach clubs like Jockey Club Malibu or Sa Trinxa. The area is great for walking / hiking along the seashore around the natural reserve of "Las Salinas", where inhabitants collect salt since 3000 years. A natural resource which also made Ibiza become a place of economical interest.
