INSIDE

A contemporary villa featuring six bedrooms designed by renowned Argentinian-born, Ibiza-residing architect Abraham Ariel. A house he considers to be his masterpiece, it combines bold cubist and modern architecture with bespoke carpentry throughout and a fluid interior decorated by leading interior designers from London and Bali to create a warm and soulful home.

Centred around a large communal living room, Casa Xarraca has floor-to ceiling hill-top views of the coast below. The relaxed modern interior showcases a notable art collection including a tapestry by Katja Angeli and canvases by Tomo Campbell, whose graduation show was bought up entirely by Mario Testino, as well as hand crafted furniture by Hans Wagner, Living Devanti and
Gervonesi. The living room has a beautifully hand crafted branch chandelier by Lindsay Adelman. The owners have made an extensive investment to create a stylish home focusing on luxurious comfort, including a Carpe Diem mattress in the master bedroom. The well-appointed bedrooms, including two masters and two garden casitas, all have private balconies offering quiet and seclusion for guests.

The professional kitchen is fitted with Gagganau appliances including a double fridge and freezer, professional hob and wine cooler. The the stylish bar and club space with professional sound system in the basement is designed as a modern members club, and has an extensive wine cellar cleverly backlit to create at atmospheric light installation.


OUTSIDE

The house benefits from beautiful social spaces that also include a large rooftop deck with fully stocked bar, as well as private outside retreats with sun beds and private dining areas. The convertible courtyard event space offers outside dining for up to 20 guests and easy access to the main kitchen.

The sympathetic landscaping includes many indigenous plants and there is a beautiful lawn area from which to enjoy the views as well as an infinity pool, pool-side gym with Technogym equipment.

ABOUT THE AREA :  IBIZA CENTER-NORTH

The property is located in the North of the Island. This is the place in Ibiza for a quieter and  real Ibiza living experience, the people being in general in a more relaxed and different state of mind than those in the South and in the West.  The North offers great nature like the beaches of Portinaxt or Benirras (with great sunsets), the steep cliffs of Puerta del Cielo in Santa Ines and laid-back villages like San Juan.

Noticeably, on the “gastronomic road” to San Lorenzo there are a series of great restaurants: Ses Escoles, Nagai, Balafia (see below), La Paloma, A Mi Manera, Ca Na Pepeta, and others.  A bit further away you find Elements on Benirras beach, Rebrots in Portinaxt or Shamarkanda in San Juan.   

The city of Santa Eulalia 12 kms away offers a choice of restaurants, bars and all services: supermarkets, bio shops, pharmacy, banks, post office, petrol stations, dry-cleaners, etc. Santa Eulalia is the administrative center of the region organised around the cityhall in the pedestrian zone.  The Yachting marina Santa Eulalia with its entertainment district with many restaurants like CBBC, Chiringuito Blue, El Deseo Mexican, Estel. There are a lot of  terraces to enjoy on Santa Eulalia´s sea front promenade. A simpler tasty eatery is Can Suldat in Es Canar with its live music.

ABOUT THE AREA – SAN JUAN

San Juan is located in the North of Ibiza Island. It is a laid-back village with its touch of cool culture, particularly vibrant every Sunday at the popular "Street Market". San Juan proposes a few quality restaurants like The Giri Cafe or Shamarkanda and some bars around a lovely main street and the Church Plaza. Key services are available: groceries shops, bank, pharmacy, post office, and some souvenir boutiques.    

Ibiza´s North region is the place for a more real living experience, the people being in general in a more relaxed and different state of mind than those in the South and West. The North offers great nature like the beaches Benirras, Portinaxt or Cala San Vicente.

Nice chill-out restaurants we recommend in the region are Rebrots in Portinaxt. or the ones the San Lorenzo road: A  Mi Manera, Ses Escoles, Nagai, Balafia and La Paloma.

See picture:  An interesting and relaxed restaurant is Shamarkanda located just at the entrance of San Juan on the road when coming from Ibiza. The "East meets West" fusion cuisine is surprising, colourful and... very tasty. Something refreshingly different.

Sunday´s "Hippie Market" in the streets of San Juan. The place to get to know your neighbors, local food producers and artisans. There is a podium on the main plaza with good live music and animations.

See picture:  The family-friendly beach of Cala San Vicente reached in 10 minutes. This is a large and wide beach with quality sand and super clear turquoise water. There are some relaxed beach-side restaurants for example On the Beach or the Boat House.

Another near-by beach is Cala Benirras at 4km or 10 min. We´d like to mention the long-standing quality beach restaurant Elements on Benirras beach, with its "true Ibiza" chill-out atmosphere, especially on Sunday afternoons when the peace-drummers come the beach.

Ibiza and Formentera are drier and warmer than the rest of the Balearic Islands, presenting a semi-arid climate. The sun exposure of the territory is very high, with about 3,000 hours per year on 320 days.The average annual temperature of the island varies between 16 and 18.5º Yearly rainfall is between 300 and 600 mm.
