ABOUT THE AREA : IBIZA CENTER-NORTH
The property is located in the Centre – North of the Island. This is the place in Ibiza for a quieter and real Ibiza living experience, the people being in general in a more relaxed and different state of mind than those in the South and in the West.
Noticeably, on the “gastronomic road” to San Lorenzo there are a series of great restaurants: Bambbuddha, Ses Escoles, Nagai, Balafia, La Paloma, A Mi Manera, Ca Na Pepeta, Es Caliu and others. A bit further away you find, Rebrots in Portinaxt or Shamarkanda in San Juan.
Ibiza Centre–North lays in midst of luxurious green nature the whole year long great for nice hikes. For example many small coves and a wild coastal region around the steep cliffs of Puerta del Cielo in Santa Ines. Cala d’Albarca stands for unforgettable nature, wild shorelines and cliffs with a massive stone bridge hanging over the seas far below. This is a one-hour hike down a steep hill and then a over an hour back up-hill, behind the village of San Mateu. It is quite a trek, but a fantastic spectacle.
Visit the laid-back village of San Juan, especially on Sundays with its popular street market.
Closest larger city is Santa Gertrudis with a lovely main street and the Church Plaza. Many services are offered: groceries shops, banks, pharmacy, post office, and some decoration & fashion boutiques.
ABOUT THE AREA – SAN MIGUEL
San Miguel is located in the North of Ibiza Island. The village is in an area that has developed over the last years into a comfortable and popular place to live, with a laid-back feeling and few nice restaurants. San Miguel´s region offers great nature and a nice sandy beach below the village : Port Balansat. San Miguel is also home of the famous spa Na Xamena hotel on a cliff 3km from the village.
Another beach around the corner is the family-friendly Cala Benirras at 4km or 10 min with great sunsets. We´d like to mention the long-standing beach restaurant Elements on Benirras beach, with its "true Ibiza" chill-out atmosphere, especially on Sunday afternoons when the peace-drummers come the beach. Close-by in Portinaxt there are 3 sandy beaches.
