The property is centrally located in the area of San Rafael, close to Ibiza City. The region offers luxuriant green nature the whole year long.

The closest village is San Rafael only one km away. Then, a bit further at only 5 km, is Ibiza City with all services, many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shopping, pharmacies, banks, post office, petrol stations, dry-cleaners, etc… The proximity to Ibiza City and to the yachting Marina Botafoch area, reached in minutes using the 4 lanes highway is an important plus for this property.

San Rafael remains a calm village the whole year through. Can Pilot is relaxed on-table-grill restaurant in the heart of the village enjoyed by locals since 25 years. 


Ibiza Centre and the North is the place in Ibiza for a more real living experience, the people being in general in a more relaxed and different state of mind than those in the South and West. The North offers great nature like the beaches of Portinaxt or Benirras (with great sunsets), the steep cliffs of Puerta del Cielo in Santa Ines and laid-back villages like San Juan. 

Good chill-out restaurants we recommend in Santa Gertrudis are Zeno´s Pizzeria (in our blog of 10 best pizzas in Ibiza) or Finca La Plaza, and a bit further away Ses Escoles, Nagai, Balafia and La Paloma on the road to San Lorenzo, Elements on Benirras beach, Rebrots in Portinaxt or Shamarkanda in San Juan. 

MILD CLIMATE IN IBIZA
The sun exposure of the territory is very high, with about 3,000 hours per year on 320 days.  Ibiza and Formentera are drier and warmer than the rest of the Balearic Islands, presenting a semi-arid climate. The average annual temperature of the island varies between 16 and 18.5º. Yearly rainfall is between 300 and 600mm.
